DAMN YESTERDAY WHILE TRAVELING DOWN 321 IN CHARLOTTE I GOT CLOCK AT 108 BY A STATE TROOPER. SO AIRGATE IM NOT SO SURE ABOUT MAKING IT TO THE 2ND OUTER BANK IF MY LICENSE GETS REVOKE. SHOULD HAVE INVEST IN A RADAR DETECTOR. DRIVE CAREFULLY PPLS. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN TO MY LICENSE IF ANYONE HERE HAS HAD A SIMILAR EXPERIENCE?????

What he did was not smart as well, and I hope he learned from his mistake as I did... I know mine was not that bad... but anything could have happend (even though it was only me on the highway the first time and my friend the other time).

 

Get a lawyer. Open the phone book at start making calls. Explain the situation and ask them what they can do for you. Then call the next one, and the next one, ... Eventually you'll find one you like and a good rate.

 

Hopefully you a lawer can get u out of it, otherwise you really will have a SleeperS2k.

 

WELL THIS MY FIRST ONE SO ILL SAY MY LICENSE WONT BE TOAST CAUSE ONE OF MY BOYS DID A 100 ON A 65 AND THAT WAS HIS THIRD ONE AND THEY ONLY REVOKE IT FOR 30 DAYS ONLY SO I PRETTY SURE MINE WONT GO THAT FAR!!!!!!!!!

 

As you were doing 40mph over the limit you will stand a good chance of losing your license, even if this is your first ticket. You were lucky you didn't get a reckless driving charge too.

Getting a lawyer would be the best chance of avoiding this.
