I don't believe I had you registered for the Outer Banks Run, not that it matters now. Like folks here have shared, you need a good attorney and some money.

At 108mph, anything can happen. The trooper could have arrested you and written other citations as well, one of which was reckless endangerment/driving.

Traveling at that speed on a public roadway shows blatenet disregard for others. You are LUCKY that you got caught. Perhaps this stopped something far worse from happening.

And, in the end, if all you learn is your lesson, then you've done well. Always remember to respect life and you'll have no issues.

im really sorry about your ticket, but if u do really wanted to open up ur car, iwould have done it somewhere like I 485 here in charlotte. I leaarned my lesson and im driving a lot slower than i did, even thought i ocationally VTEC...lol...but yea if u need a good lawyer, the one who is currently representing me is

i dont konw if he is 2 far 4 u or not, but chek it out...he imte be able to help..as for me, my court date was yesterday and what my attorney is trying to do is
1) he extended my court date so the police officer form that night can be present
2) to lower my speed to 60 in a 45 (15 mph over)
3) Possibly take a driving class so that i can even knock off htat 15 mph and then get everything off my record...or esle im going to have to take 2 pts onto my jersey license....

hopefully everything will work out for the both of us man...i feel your pain, and next time just becareful a little bit more and watch where u hit triple digits....good luck!

No cops at the track, but you still must drive safe & sane, or they will boot you out too.

 

yepper, when I follow my roomate to the dragstrip, its worth the 8$ to get in a couple of runs to open her up. that gets it out of my system.

I think you are being a little hard on him. The meets and drives we go on around here are very aggressive and very fast on backroads well above speed limits posted. On a major highway like route 40 in north carolina where it is flat and smooth, noone around, what is the big deal. I drive those speeds when i have a chance. A quick burst up and back down. The speed limit in the south is 70 mph on most highways any way.

 

Jay2000 i can't agree with you more on the speed limit and the driving condition im young and dumb so every chance i get im going to go as fast possible, but because of this ticket i think its time to settle down. i learn it the hard way but u have to live it to learn it so im straight cruising from this point on, but that doesn't mean my VTEC won't scream LOL!!!!!!!!
