Default Need Tires for My AP1

Ok so its about that time for me to replace my rear tires on ap1's. I've read the article on the correct size but the fact of the matter is that 245/45 is hard to come by or doesn't have a good enough tire. So should I go for the OEM Potenza S-02 or can is there another tire size I can do to not make the rear look like donuts? Getting 17's isn't possible at the time so I'm just sticking with the 16's for now. Wanting to try out the Star Specs.

After looking at TireRack's Inventory the bfgoodrich g-force sport has a tread width of 8.5 and are z rated. Anybody on here ever tried these tires?

I've been using the g-force sports and for the price they're really nice. If you going to replace the rears you need to get the same tires that you have up front. If you don't, just buy all four. However, I would never mix the tires on this car.

Pick up some AP2V1's and you won't have a problem finding tires in the size you want

I am using Fusion tires 245 45 16 on MY 2003 and am happy with them. I bought them from Roadway tire in Florida$ 98 each plus shipping and I had to pay Florida tax. Tire Rack has the same tires $111 each plus shipping.

Get stock size. The sticky about 245's is outdated. If you want some good AS tires, the Continental DSW's are good for under $400. Nice and gripy, and predictable in the rain.
