Just because Honda puts an S in the name, doesn't make it a sports car.

 

I know speeds are much slower in Japan and safety is a bit different but I've always thought it would be absolutely awful to be in a wreck in the Beat. There is nearly nothing seperating you from the front and rear of the car.

 

The JDM version is like 60WHP. If it comes to the US it have something like 1.4 liter motor putting out almost a 100WHP. I think a Honda Fit would beat it. NOT A NEW S2000, please.

The rumors I've seen is that the S660 will be JDM only. But a yet to be named replacement for the S2000 may come out. The new S2000 is supposed to have similar styling (which I'm not a HUGE fan of, the grill is too big. But I like the side vent and tonneau cover.) Rumor has it, 300-ish HP out of a turbo 4cyl.
