My car came back from Body shop in Charlotte last Friday.
I think they painted to 05' Rio Yellow...
My car is 02 Spa Yellow.

I told that they painted to Rio Yellow. I can tell paint color differences when I open doors, trunks.and etc.
But they told me they painted to Spa yellow....
Too much B.S.....

I gotta go there again to discuss.

It sucks...

 

I can guaratee you that they ddin't use honda paint. They probably used some cheap crap like sherwin williams. Mixed it themselves and charged you normal price.

Had a friend with a yellow mazdaspeed protege have the same problem at McClure's.....they went back over and re-did the panels...came out almost matching just right.

 

Actually, my car was re-painted bt Honda dealership...
I talked with manager yesterday. They said they will bring 2002 Spa yellow S and compare w/ my S.

I hope they will fix my paint work

 

If it was done at the dealership, I am surprized they didn't take the time to look at the paint code which would have told them exactly which to use.

My car was done by Hendrick Honda Colision Center @ Charlotte.
They told me they used same paint code but I'm kinda doubt that....
But paint itself came very good though

I'll wait for their response.
