spa yellow repair
#2
I had to have bodywork done to mine a couple of months ago, and yes, the shop said that the spa yellow was a real pain in the butt to match. It took two different painters and 3 shots at it before they got mine to match. I don't really have any tips or advice, but I can sympathize with what you're going through. Sorry

Hey Swiss...good to here from you again. I would recommend you order the S2000 "Body Repair Manual" from http://www.helm.com. It gives very explicit instructions on all body repair work and repainting. The color match should not be a problem at all if you follow the guidelines noted in the manual Section 5 "Body Paint". If you have trouble ordering the manual send me a PM and I'll see what I can do for you. Hope the skiing treated you well again this season .

I had to have my right rear bumper pelled out repaired and painted. it took much longer than necessary b/c they couldnt match the paint. they had all professional come by to help. at the end it looked brand new and i was amazed. the only bad thing is i just noticed that half my car is covered in some type off overspray which i assume happened there while he did another car. its 2 months old and it feels like its dried out and ready to crack(the paint). i must get the car detailed now.
good luck
