FYI, there is an 04 AP2 Silverstone for sale at the used dealership beside Enterprise Car Rentals on Main Street.

Also, the AP2 suspension has been softened a bit to lessen the oversteer from earlier models (not a problem for good drivers however).

s2kmaniac is the most knowledgeable s2000 person I have ever seen that drives a GTO. HAH!!!

Trick, if you are going to buy an s2000, I highly recommend driving a real new one even if you dont want to buy it. Rev it all the way up on your test drive and feel what its like to vtec it. Try to remember it real vividly. Then later, if you decide to get an older one, do the same thing and see if it feels the same. I once drove a higher mileage one that had no vtec. It made the sound but it didnt go any faster. I think this comes from downshifting into the redline. Buy wisely!

No, Saki the clicking noise coming from my engine doesnt sound quite like that... its more frequent. I used to use Mobil 1 fully syn 10W/30 but honda told me to use a non-syn oil to see if that stopped the oil usage... nope.

here's the video. the deep rumble in the background is my friends STi. they both agree that my engine doesnt sound good.

Dude, that's your timing chain tensioner going bad I'll bet you...

Yours sounds pretty bad to me too... I had to replace mine once and it made that same noise slightly compared to yours...

Replace... But no guarantee the noise won't come back b/c the part may go bad again... I'll post a link to the thread where everyone hates these things and Billman250 states many times just how many he replaces regularly...

General consenus is that it's a faulty design piece which Billman250 and others are trying to find out exactly why the TCT fails prematurely...

With detailed pics and write-ups of where the TCT is located and how to change it out properly...
