how the heck did you find that?? i've been looking for that thread for almost 3 years now! I abosultely hate this noise. A car that is as awesome as ours shouldn't be making noises like this!

so i gotta russel up about $150 bucks to do the install.... hey maybe we make part of the myrtle beach meet a tech day and knock this thing out?

 

Just an update:

We went to Leith Honda on Capital Blvd in Raleigh today. Looked @ the S2k in the showroom & read through the brochure.

Test drove an '06 model. They didn't have a lbp lying around, & that is what she really wants. The salesman was nice & a change from a few other places I have been to.

I knew she wouldn't hit vtack in that thing... took some encouraging to let her know the car was not going to break. I have a lot of driving to train her on. She is so used to her pos Lancer that she leases from work...

She did love it. Quote "Now I see why they all wanted to go to the mountains, this car must suck to drive on straight, flat roads all the time" (Insert huge smile)

Going to look for an AP1 02-03 for her to testdrive to see if she can tell a difference... we shall see. If not, I think we will look for a used AP2 since she will never hit higher rpms. (I won't drive it that much & she will be the only one to track it)
