Questions about my up coming wheels set up
I'm looking into getting a non staggered set up of SBC Enkei RPF1's 17x9 +45 all the way around. I need fender rolling advice, camber advice, and tire advice. Tire wise I'm looking for a kinda poke out stretched looked. Like on this G35.
Obviously not with the same offset but the tire stretched look. If possible, I would like to do that. Also I was wondering if I could run wider tires on the rear and smaller width tires on the front even though the wheels will all be 17x9.
These are Dr Jekyll's RPf1's. I'm looking to do the same set up as this with a mild stretch of tires. I'm having trouble with him responding to my pm about his tires sizes. So seeing if anyone else could help.

talk to yves (yellow jacket) about the fender rolling, he does amazing work for pretty darn cheap. as for the tires, it is possible to "stretch" the fronts and run a larger tire size on the rear. good luck bro.

17x9 with a +45 offset should be fine with stretching a size smaller tire all the way around and a good fender roll. Nothing crazy, just clean and simple. I love the SBC finish as well, good investment.

Nicole (itshers2k) is running 17x9 +45 with 245/40/17's all the way around with fenders rolled and as far as I know she doesn't have any rubbing issues. At least, she didn't when I drove her car for a while one day. Here is what it looks like

After seeing Nicoles I will probably do her same tire set up. Maybe alittle smaller in the front just to kinda keep alittle bit of staggeredness lol. Also I was wondering with the thickness of the tire. I've been seeing the front with a thicker tire a lot. I thought the rear tire was suppose to be thicker if any of them. For example the rear 245/45/17 and front 245/40/17. Am I right?

245/40/17 would be the closest to the stock diameter. 245/45/17 will probably fit, but it would be taller than stock. Your speedometer will read low.
