Default Raleigh area - soldering help?

Hey, I'm trying to attach a couple wires to a circuit board. Anyone in Raleigh have any soldering experience to do the job?

Are there lugs coming off the board or are you just trying to attach to an already existing solder point?

I have done a good bit of soldering back in the day. Let me know if I can help.

Buy a 12 pack of soda cans. using some fine sandpaper, sand off a 2"x2" area of the painted coating. Practice sanding wires to the outside of the Can. Use full, unopened cans. Shake first if you feel like upping the ante. If you can hold up the can BY the wire, you've done it well. If you get a face full of soda, you need more practice.

The short of it is, I need to attach two wires to a circuit board that alread has a button soldered directly onto it.

I figure the board could be drilled out with two holes next to the existing solder points, and a wire placed into the board and soldered in to make it work. My theory at least...

The idea here is to take a garage remote control and have it tucked away, so the wires would attach to a button in a different place a few inches away. I don't think its difficult, its just not something I have experience with; i'm looking for someone to do it for me, and I can help.

Not near you or I would certainly help out. We just modded a few xbox 360 controllers over the weekend. My soldering skills are weak but at least fresh on my mind and enough to do what you need.

Have you considered Modfry's solution? It's very easy. I did it to my car.
