SAD SAD DAY!
E46 M3 would be a wise choice...
I'm in the process of turboing the S and I'm looking for an E46 M3 as a daily driver. You can find great deals on them (high $20k's, low $30k's) with 100k mile warranties!

I am thinking if I get another S. I would like a 2003 AP1 GPW. I would either powder coat the RPF1's Cusco Blue or Powder coat the wheels and bar Tein or Takata Green. Thats my vision right now.

Craig, glad to hear you are OK, and for my vote -- get another S -- 2003 would be a great choice -- all the tweaks and still 9k.
I was surprised that if you hit hydroplaning conditions, that the back end washed out. Normally, when running straight, the front tires are most prone to hydro, and they push the water out of the way of the rears. What were you f/r tread depths?
