SAD SAD DAY!
After seeing those pics, I too, am relieved you are still around to type!
Not sure what tires you were running and haven't seen pics of the rears, and not tring to be critical of you, but I've seen too many of these... I am guessing S02s?
So, if you get another AP1, please put 17" wheels and something like RE01Rs on it. That has tamed my AP1s rear end down, considerably, and they are great in the rain! If your budget allows, the VSA in an '06+ AP2 will help *dramatically* in this situation, and in the dry, you can turn it off....

dang man sorry to hear about this... glad you're ok but man it sucks to see another s2k like that. really wet roads and s2k's don't mix at all. good luck getting everything sorted out and go for another S!
Good thing you're allright. Hyrdoplaning is definitely FTL.
..on my way home today, there was a black supra that had gotten loose on 485..it appeared the supra must have hydroplaned because it was facing the wrong direction on the embankment.

Glad you're ok man. But looking on the bright side....you get to go car shopping!
