I participated in the last SCCA AutoX on April 6th here in New Bern. While they had some issues, I had loads of fun. Quite a few folks complained about the delays and such, but it was a huge learning experience for me. Here are some pics that I never shared before. It was a great time for me and I even ranked 1st Place in my Class. Not too shabby for a 1st timer. I will most definately make plans to attend this.

Also, an email I received from Bill on the 25th of August. . .
The Cape Fear Chapter/NCR will sponsor an Autocross at the New Bern,
Twin Rivers Mall on September 21st. 2003.
The delay since our first event on April 6th was due to problems with obtaining
funding for the purchase of a new Timing and Scoring System. I'm
happy to say that the AXWare System will be delivered next week and checked
out in time for the September event.
Those of you who persevered at the April event will understand why it was
imperative to purchase a new timer before attempting to run another event.
We are sorry for the delay, but plan to run another event at the Twin Rivers
Mall on Oct. 19th, and a third event in November at UNC-Wilmington or
at the Kinston Indians Parking Lot.
We will be posting an announcement and entry from on the NCR Web Page:
www.ncrscca.com within the next few days.
Also, go to myautoevents web page as we hope to be able to do on-line registration
at this web site.

Thanks for your patience, and we hope to end the year with three more outstanding events,
In addition we plan to join the North Carolina Autocross Association next year for a full
schedule of autocross events throughout the season.
