It's not looking promising for me.

I'm on-call that weekend and I've got a trip to Michigan planned for Labor Day, which doesn't help me negotiate the on-call schedule very well. If I do make it up, it'll probably just be for a day trip or something... Y'all know I like driving home late at night!
I wish I had your problem

Of course, you can find a hose...and supply your own...but this ain't no event and therefore, no real planning or even thought has gone into this...

(smccoy screachin'... "WHAT??? No thought??!!")

It's not a car show, it's a DRIVE

Last time we were there, they had an outdoor faucet and even provided a box of old towels just for washing cars and bikes. Problem was....they had no hose! ?????

Oh....and the "non-event" is exactly that; I DON"T want to have to give it any thought, outside of trying to pick a less crowded weekend and place to sleep. That's all done; time for me to goof off!

What do you mean?

If you are asking when we'll be leaving...I can't speak for the others...but I plan to leave in the AM on Friday...I took Friday as a PTO day (Paid Time Off). Now, what time on Friday morning has yet to be discussed...guess we could plan to leave by 8am and that should get us to Tapoco/Dragon by 12:30 or so...and that's including a traditional stop for morning nourishment at Cracker Barrel.

Traditional Departure Gate from Charlotte:
- Exxon @ I-85 and Billy Graham Pkwy (right next to Cracker Barrel)

Departure time:
Friday, 8/17, 8:30 AM
(Come earlier if you want Cracker Barrel breakfast, or need to gas up, check tires, etc.)

Ron and I will plan to arrive Cracker Barrel @7:30 for breakfast, if you'd like to join!
