How were the R888's in the wet? Compared to the RA1's?

I don't have any experience with the RA1's in the wet. I was pretty happy with the R888s. They couldn't handle the big standing puddles, but anything short of that and they were stable. They don't appear to show any wear at all after 120 miles in the wet.
