Default VAFC2?

Hey folks, wondering if any of the NA guys on here were tuned using the VAFC2. They seem to be going for pretty cheap on the ole ebay and after I get everything in order, I will have intake, header, tp, exhaust, and an AUT plate with the scoop. I may also look into a throttle body and some gears.

My main concern with the VAFC2 is finding out how easy it is to tune. I don't want to buy it and the frog harness and not be able to tune it! Thanks everyone.

Josh

Do some searches on here. The S can be picky with a vfc. Only WOT can be tuned as well, or the ecu will adjust and undo the tune. It's not hard at all to tune, but know the pros and cons.

Thanks SgtB I read the entire 7 page thread while ago an reread it today. I just think that until I go FI anything other than a VAFC2 is not worth the money. I had a Greddy EMU and harness for a while and was going to make the trip to Atlanta to get Giles to tune it, but they kept moving back the date.

I was thinking if I could just maximize my mods' potential than it would be worth it to spend a couple of hunderd on the VAFC.

Thanks Yellow! I am going to keep an eye out for one with the boomslang/ PNP harness and see if I can get it and do a little tuning myself. Dyno tuning would rock once I get all my NA mods done.
