Default Valve Adjust Assist

Anyone in the Charlotte area familiar with adjusting the valves on an AP1 willing to show me this weekend? I have a p0300 cel and am hoping replacing the spark plugs and a valve adjust will solve the problem.

Thanks for the motivation! I'm waiting for all the tools to arrive from Amazon. Between the DIY on forum and the YouTube videos I think I can pull it off. It's got to be easier them replacing the top. Only more expensive if something goes wrong!

If you would like, I can adjust your valves for you. I live in the South Park area or Charlotte. It shouldn't take no time to knock it out. I can grab the valve cover gasket and spark plug seals through my work for you. All OEM parts. Just shoot me a PM.

B - thanks for the offer! I don't check the forum as regularly as I have in the past. Need to setup email notifications for responses. I managed to do it myself. When installing the valve cover I messed up two spark plug seals. Tracked down some new ones at Concord Honda and was able to finish the job. That was my only hiccup. It also looked like the spark plug backed out in cylinder 2. The coil pack looked rough but I reinstalled it with new plugs. Car runs much smoother now. First valve adjustment at 135k miles and no check engine light.

The job made me feel like an old man though. My lower back was killing me for the next two days!
