Just curious when you guys did either of them.

My car has 22K miles on it and it sounds like there's a little beebee bouncing around in the engine (head). Same thing was going on in my Accord except it sounded like a bag of marbles were in there. My friend and I did a valve adjustment and quieted it up real nice. Would I need a valve adjustment in the S already? I do get on it quiet a bit.

Also when should I change the spark plugs and are there any special ones you guy use?

I did my first valve adjustment at around 25k.

 

I did 4 valve adjustments by 16K miles, but I am rather anal about that kind of thing. I think that every car should have a valve adjustment after break-in. The valves are adjusted before the valves and valve seats have settled. Once that 1st adjustment is done, it should be fine for a long time.
