Pay mine off, put a turbo on it, get a 4 door DD (maybe a TL), watch the smile on my kids face (in a couple of years) when I crank it up on the weekends

A man with a (great) plan.

Shuneycutt -- don't wait too long to execute the plan -- those kids will be headed to college all too soon.

According to my fiance we still have a couple of years before we have kids (after she gets her masters). S should be paid off by then... of course "If you want to make GOD laugh...tell him your plans".

I cant think of a suitable replacement for the S. When I think back, I felt the same way about my TR3 and my FC. If I have to replace it, after drying my tears, I'll probably look at the current Lotus line. I really like the lines on the 2000 Esprit. Only problem was that it must have been designed buy an engineer who was vertically challenged I couldn't get my head and my feet in the car at the same time.
Anyway, I don't want to think about replacing it now. Just enjoy it.

Yeah, but you are moving to CO, so who cares....
Actually, we liked Charlotte when we were up there for New Years. We are still up in the air right now, I just know I want some mountains and scenery. Unless something drastic happens (Tampa hurricane, layoffs or 80%+ increase in homeowners) It'll be at least a year, probably more before we start looking seriously now that Jessie found another job down here. Her company has offices in Greensboro though so after awhile she may even be able to transfer up there

I will def. not get another s2000 because of two reasons. #1 I don't like the new S2000's at all since '04 and the '06 just got even worse. #2 I wouldn't get another car just like one I have previously owned. Too many different nice models out there to try out to have the same one on and on.
