Okay, I know that there have to be places in Charlotte that sell beer kegs for the home. Can anyone help me out with names of places or links to places that sell kegs?

i know you can get them from frugal macdoogals (carowinds blvd - just across the SC border)...

that's the only place i've even gotten one from.

Almost all grocery stores around Greenville, SC carry them so I'm sure the same would be the case up there.

Thanks, I'll have my brother look at the supermarkets. He's up there this week for an interview.

I just got a kegerator (sp?) before Christmas. Just want to make sure I can still get beer for it when I move up there.

I couldn't find squat on the searches I did for kegs.

Hey, if you guys say they are pretty common, that's good enough for me.

Although both of you are buying from SC, that still does make me worry just a bit.

SC = cheaper prices on just about everything (except insurance and car taxes )
