Thanks for all the great comments, Lisa and I are headed into Seattle tomorrow, to visit some friends, and will post up some pics when we get back on Friday...
Once we get completely finished with the trip, i.e. post-DBR, we will set up a link to shutterfly with all the pics taken during the trip.

ZSAK, we are planning on passing through the Mt. Rushmore area, will send a PM later to let you know what date...

Any other owners that might be on the way, feel free to drop us a line..

3 S's spotted since we've been in Wenatchee, WA...all have been in the Seattle area (15 total)

You can't go to Seattle and not take a trip to the top of the Space Needle...it's only 550 ft up in a glass elevator...

But you do get an awesome view of Seattle from the top...

We also visited the Project Music Revolution Museum and the Science Fiction Museum...

Spent some time with family today in Leavenworth...

We realize that we have not been posting as much as we had been, but we have a very good reason...her name is Katie and she is John's niece...

We will be heading back towards NC on Tuesday morning, so we will be back to our regular posting for our die-hard followers...so be on the lookout...

Not set in stone, but have plans to hit Colorado Springs to visit a friend of Lisa's, and will probably make the Pikes Peak run while we're there...
after that, headed back towards Mt. Rushmore, then making the long run over to Niagara Falls, before heading south to the Dragon.

John, can't wait to see you and Lisa at DBR.

I was just in Buffalo 3 weeks ago...never got a chance to see Niagara Falls...so take lots of great pics!

Oh...and Mt. Rushmore...I'm sooooo jealous.

Back in driver's seat never felt so good, in fact I drove till 1AM yesterday, so this will be another double post...

580 miles driven yesterday 628 miles driven today (6327 total)
1 S spotted yesterday 1 S spotted today (14 total)
$88 spent on gas yesterday $58 spent on gas today ($846 total)

Started out yesterday morning with 2 problems, our second GPS died, and the dreaded CEL...
Quick trip to the local Honda dealer, and the diagnosis in an intermittent fault with the Idle Air sensor, with that problem fixed, we headed for the closest Circuit City, about 200 miles away, to get a new (upgraded) GPS.

Finally getting the trip underway, we make it into our next state...

Idaho is only about 70 miles wide up at the panhandle, but Lake Couer D'Alene offers a great view...

Big Sky Country is next up, unfortunatly it was overcast most of the way...

An interesting little hole in the wall... they currently have over 50,000 silver dollars up on the walls, and under the bar...

Spent the night in Montana, and headed for

this morning, and

Don't worry, we have a 2+ min video of the eruption that we'll show at DBR, if anyone else wants to see it, I'll try to load it on youtube at a later date. PM me if your interested...

Finally got a pic of this after crossing about 5 times...

And finally, Just a warning to any of you contemplating a trip like this, don't do it in the late summer, every state so far has had some road construction projects going on, Wyoming happened to be the worst so far... traveled on this road for about 15 miles...

An this is a nice shot of the Titons with my filthy car...
