Default WTF is happening here? Injector problems

Alright guys I'm stumped here. I'm in the process of putting my car back together and I bought some stock 07 Injectors from a fellow member on here. I go to put them in and it seems like they're too short and I'm missing some sort of spacer or something. Anyone have any idea whats going on? I've looked on majestic and it seems like I have all the parts I need.

As you can see the top of the injectors barely come flush with the bottom of the rail. I tried putting the injectors in the rail first and then into the intake manifold. Then tried putting them in the intake manifold first and putting the rail on after. I'm stumped. Whats the deal

What kind of injectors were on there before?

I know with ID's and FID's they are taller than the OEM injectors so you have to put spacers (washers) below the three mounting posts for the fuel rail. From your pictures though it doesn't look like those mount posts have washers underneath them. Remove the fuel rail and using a deep-well socket remove the three mount posts from the intake manifold. See if they have any washers or spacers between them and the intake manifold.

They were RC650s. I wasn't sure if they were taller but i didn't think they were. And it would be super obvious if there were spacers on there. The fuel rail is like a cm or more too high.

I wonder if the AP1's and AP2's have different height mount posts from the factory. And in order to make the RC's work the PO just used AP1 mount posts?

spacers weren't OEM. didn't make sense to me since the fuel rail sat flush with both the spacers and the intake manifold but the oem spacers were a cm or so shorter.
