Default 2006 S2000, 46k mi, Rio Yellow Pearl, $17900, Longview, TX

Name: Matt
Location: Longview, TX
Contact: email coldsteel26.tv@gmail.com, call/text (903) 261-6006
Description: 2006 S2000 46,xxx miles. Stock except for AP1 seats. I purchased the car in 2010; at that time it had 20k miles and a new top. I am the third owner. It has resided Texas and Louisiana. I have installed a lowered seat rail as well as an ipod connector. I also have a tonneau cover, car cover and the stock seat rail.
During my ownership, the S has been well maintained and garage kept. It has recent new brakes & serpentine belt as well as recently changed coolant, oil, transmission and differential fluids. Tires are Dunlop Direzza Ziis, approximately six months old. This has been a wonderful, reliable, and fun first sports car, I am only selling it to make room for something with more seats!
VIN: JHMAP21426S003491

Price: $17900

Very well maintained car and an excellent seller. Buy with confidence!! I would pick this up myself, but I already have 2 S2000's and wife said NO!

Good luck with sale. I hate to see it go.

A question if I may....

Why does it have the '00 - '05 seats?

No problem, thanks for the interest. To be brief, I am not sure why it has ap1 seats.
I was new to the S2k scene when I bought the car, and I did not realize the seats didn't match. I figured it out about 6 months later when I went to install the lowered seat rail, I could tell the seat pan had been modified. The guy from whom I purchased the vehicle never emailed me back when I asked about the seats (he was great at emailing when I wanted to buy the car). I had an insurance adjuster buddy of mine run the VIN and he could not find any claims or anything. It has a clean carfax. I guess it will be forever a mystery!
At any rate, the car is in great shape, come out for a test drive, you will not be disappointed!

Nice car, it's literally my car's identical twin (minus the pre-06 seats).

If it had a new top when he bought it I'd guess the seats were stolen and top slashed, and the insurance company just got replacement seats (oem brand new are insane $$$). Wish I could pickup a second one myself..

SOLD!
Bittersweet, I miss it already. But, this will free up room for another sports car. The lady that bought it was really excited.

Just a word on selling:
Autotrader got me a fair amount of hits, seemed to be more serious and less low ball or scammers
Craigslist brought forth an avalanche of scammers, people who would sell my car for me, texters, and people offering me shady jeeps in return for my car. I was surprised the amount of calls and emails it generated but they were nearly all worthless.
S2ki brought me a more savvy buyer who already had their homework done and knew what questions to ask. Ultimately I think my buyer came to me from s2ki. I hope she loves the car!

Damn, if you had still had it by this next weekend it would probably be mine.

Congrats on the sale.

Hey Matt, it's Amanda!

Yes I found your ad through s2ki. I've been searching for the right s2000 for about 10 months now, it was my dream car now turned into reality. I love the car already! I didn't know if I would like the rio yellow pearl too much but in person it is gorgeous. I already gave her her first bath right when I got home yesterday. Thank you so much for everything!
