CA - 2001 Silverstone S2000 - 63k miles - $18.5k OBO
First Name: Nick
Price: $18,500 OBO
Year & Model: 2001 Honda S2000
Mileage: 63,000,but I'm still driving it occasionally.
Location: Oakland, CA
Contact: DM, email nnchang01+s2k@gmail.com, or reply to this thread
Hey folks, here we have a good example of an AP1 S2000. Largely stock; only mods are the ASA wheels in AP2 sizes, Koni Sport coilovers, and a top with a glass window. Car has been well-loved, always owned in the SF bay area, and it shows no signs of trouble! $18.5k OBO. Mostly flexible on price if we can close quickly.
Selling because I need something with more trunk, and I want to try owning something with a turbo. Might be open to negotiating a trade for a WRX or STI, wagon.

- Motor runs beautifully, sounds wonderful, and makes the kind of power you'd expect! It's never given me any problems, no matter the weather or the couple times I've left it alone for an extended time. Fluids have been changed regularly. I can throw in about 4qt of the Castrol synthetic I've been using.
- Upgraded wheels - ASA AR1, 17"x7" front and 17"x8" rear (AP2 S2K wheel sizes). Factory wheels not included. One of the hub centers is gone.
- Currently riding on Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires that still have a lot of life left.
- Chassis is super-tight, and the alignment is excellent. I took this to track days at Thunderhill twice, and I still have yet to get close to the limits of this car.
- Convertible top works just like new. Quiet, quick operation and an upgrade to glass rear window.
- A/C blows cold, heat gets hot enough for top-down drives along Skyline Drive on foggy mornings.
- Paint is still gorgeous, as you can see in the pictures.
- Interior is nearly mint, save some peeling plastic around the gear shift. Throwing in a titanium shift ball, for somewhat shorter shifts. Factory ball is still in the car.

I know the seller for more than 10 years. I know this is his first post but I can vouch for him. He is a good guy. If I were in the market for an S2000, I would buy from him (but you guys know I already have an S2000 replacement - so not looking).
Was going to invite him to an S2000 drive to introduce him to the S2000 community but COVID hits and then he decided to sell the car - couldn't convince him to keep car.
Let me know if any member have any question.
