Cornering speeds and grip are similar, but it loses in the straights. A well prepped Miata with a race setup, ie., stripped etc. is about as fast as a bone stock S2K on most tracks. Of course once you prep the S2K to the same level, the Miata gets creamed again.

The car is sold BTW
