MN, 2001 SOT Roots Supercharged 42,000 miles
I am posting this on the way to work so I will have more information later. Pictures are ok but I did not have a chance to detail the car yet.
This is a 2001 Silverstone with a SOT Roots supercharged kit that I converted from a MP62 to a TVS 900 blower and upgraded the barrel intercooler. Car was always garaged and stored winters, never seen snow. I drive it about 3000 miles per year.
I bought the car as a three year old lease return with 12,000 miles and am the second owner. I drove it until about 30,000 miles and then added the supercharger. The car makes about 305 at the wheels (Dyno Dynamics) with 200 foot pounds of torque right across the board. This is a low boost kit so it makes that power level at 6 pounds of boost.
The car lasted 10,000 miles of forced induction on the original clutch before it started to slip a little in third. In the last 3000 miles it has had a new ACT clutch and stock disc, upgraded the engine management to Haltech and new 725 ID injectors and oversized intercooler. It also has a Mugen header and stock exhaust.
The roots kits are somewhat unique in that they deliver full boost and torque almost instantaneously and it is similar feel to having a 360-370 crank hp V6 in the car.
Reason for selling, I am have owned it for 11 or 12 years and thinking about something new but also moving so it seemed like a good time.
Asking $17,500 or best reasonable offer. All PM's will be responded to. Sorry, no trades.
