Always check your pockets before doing laundry. You could accidentally send your cellphone through the wash destroying the phone and losing important phone numbers. (Happened to me

Always check your pockets for gum as well. you could wash your clothes and dry them with a pack of gum in the pocket and ruin the entire load of laundry. Happened to a . . . ahem friend of mine . . . uhh . .. twice
