What car was it? What reason did they have to think that it was deserted? I would argue it saying that they had no reason to consider it deserted ....

Here in San Jose, a vehicle parked on the street needs to be moved (significantly, not just a few feet) after three days.

It was the end of the month, so I suspect some officer just needed to meet his/her ticket quota.

I did see a couple of other cars with tickets, though I'm not sure if it's for the same reason.
