Ah, that's better. Anyway, in case you guys are curious, I've decided to contest the ticket in person.
I'm not really sure how I'm going to do this yet. I'll probably just explain that I wasn't abandoning the vehicle and I live a block from there (whatever the officer who wrote the ticket thinks

Also, the ticket was written on 1/30, 6:59pm, and I brought it in the following day. That could be something in my favor, I guess...
