3. Get off weird relativist monetary philosophies, and get back to setting the currency based on circulation vs. GDP.

4. Coerce China to unyoke the yuan to the dollar.

They could get bailout money for the merger. I could get behind that. Not that it's the inherently right thing to do; but it sucks less.
