im thinking about buying a 42' LCD TV. What's the different between 720 and 1080?

There is about a 300-400 bucks price difference. I dunno if it's worth it.

It's picture resolution.

My advice? Get the 1080p set and an Oppo981 DVD player. Enjoy.
