UT,

Is it OK to disassociate one's self with from over 1/2 his/her cousins/aunts/uncles?
If you've been doing it out of habit, and they annoy you, then yes, you have a right to not be complicit in your own oppression.

If you're disassociating them out of spite, don't.

They're always your family, but that doesn't mean you HAVE to condone their continued moronic behavior.

Leaving this at the Family Reunion.

Are these current nitwits REALLY considering lowballing me on the price of my house by more than $100,000?!
Yes.

Why? They're nitwits.

True enough. They're going through the house with a contractor tomorrow. I'm hoping a) they'll come to their senses or b) the lady who WAS interested (and was more price-rational) will come to HER senses.

She backed out when she was advised not to buy for another 6 months?!

Phew. I've had a lot of first dates. . .

Really depends on the woman and setup every time. The only rules I really know aren't mine, they're from Back Lot Professor Emeritus Tom Leykis.

1. Keep it under $50
2. Money spent on booze is flexible.
3. No coffee dates
4. No lunch dates
5. Avoid dinner if possible
5a. Make dinner as cheap as possible if unavoidable

For me, free museum nights and sunset picnics have always saved my bacon.

UnkieT,

I'm making Vegetarian Korma tonight. (http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Vegetar...ma/Detail.aspx).

Can I NOT add the jalapeno 'cause I hate it crazy spicy and substitute some sort of black pepper or something?

Just use less jalapeno. Go to the grocery store and pick up anaheims or poblanos to substitute.
