UnkieT,
So my gf bought me a 3G iPhone for our 2 year anniversary a coupe 'o weeks ago. And I've been using the headphones lately. And remember my question about which ones to get?
Well I have REALLY impressed with the shure's I got.. and they were super cheap since they were last years model. (110's instead of 210's). Now, using the newer gen iPhone plugs, I find the sound quality not THAT much different, the only thing I don't like is that the apple ones aren't noise isolating therefore making my ears hurt trying to drown out the ****ing kids sitting behind me in this yogurt shop.
Am I a earphone n00b, or are they fairly comparable?

The real test is whether after 30 minutes to an hour of listening, if you feel physically tired. If you feel physically tired after listening, they're still shitty headphones (or speakers). . .

please elaborate? what would make you feel phsycially tired?
An evening with a Bose Acoustics home theater *should* make you tired, while you will probably not psychologically acknowledge the speaker after 5 minutes say, with my system (you'll just be watching the movie. . .).
I now understand thank you. I thought bose was good stuff, i mean for the home stuff, anything i heard in a car wasn't very impressive for the price. The only stock systems i've really been impressed with is the one in a lexus rxXXX.

still was slightly underpowered although it sounds pretty much as good as the system in my car except mine goes louder and costs more. but they have awesome range with out even using a component speaker set up.
