Unkie,

Will the Jacksonville Jags turn their season around?
Yes and no.

They'll play better, but they've got an underpowered division, so when they face-off against AFC East, they're ass is toast (unless it's the Miami Tunas).

Unkie Trunkie: I currently work in sales, selling extended vehicle service contracts... three years ago when I started in this industry the money was absolutely ridiculous, but now with all the restrictions set by state AGs and by the FTC... the industry has completely changed and the money just is not the same. I feel like I have a great amount of sales experience under my belt (especially since I deal with high pressure sales. You have to close the person on the initial phone call) Also, I would like to get away from commission... any suggestions on where to go from here considering all I have is a high school diploma?

Well, I had to ask.

I get that it's relatively easily spread, but FFS if people just followed common sense (which I realize is not that common), then it wouldn't be an issue. Besides, the vast majority of people aren't even at risk of dying from it.

Oh and...Swine Empowerment FTW.
Unkie stunky,

didn't we go the mat last flu season with someone who knew a person who thought they understood epidemiology? [Oh yea.]

Morbidity and mortality stats are so passe, fear sells.

I'm pretty sure you know all the struff that is supposed to be funny, btw. You just choose to focus on flattulence.

Look at what happened to the Egyptians killing the pigs to "protect" against swine flu. A plague on their houses!

Okay Unkie, the Roomie Rumble is scheduled for 9pm EST tonight. We're gonna have a group discussion about expectations, etc. I'm totally willing to be flexible and negotiate, but the end result will be that there will be very clear rules (ie who is responsible for what, etc.). So my question is, what kinds of consequences can I suggest for people who don't follow the agreed-upon rules? This kind of thing is MUCH easier to sort out when you're dealing with children.

If you're looking to get away from commission, then try either BestBuy or Shane Co. You might want to seriously consider going to Community College and broadening your horizons. Sales is a great career if you have the teeth for it, but without a college degree, you'll have to work exceptionally hard to find the high-commission sales (B2B) jobs.

It's sometimes a shame you're not my first born son.
