FFS I use a smart phone all the time! It is great for surfing during meetings, looking up rebuttals, and stalking. 80% of the utility of a laptop without the nerd factor.

Moreover, it doesn't address my main rub with the little buggers; do you need one? I'm not denying that having a phone that could record a rehearsal, playback the rehearsal tracks, keep the orchestra player's and vocalists' names and numbers, contain a built-in metronome and tuner wouldn't be cool. . . but I don't need it, and I don't need it if it includes my cornhole gaping compliments of my cell provider.
