Unkie, why are people getting so wound up about the swine flu? Oh, and if you have any control over any major media outlets and could lessen the coverage of this (preferably in favour of something heartwarming), that would be great.

In regards to H1N1 (I'm not using that other bacon-denigrating term), it's the fact that the vaccine is slow to arrive, and it's instance of contraction is AMAZINGLY fast.

Put on your tinfoil hat and suspect it may be weaponized.

Well, I had to ask.

I get that it's relatively easily spread, but FFS if people just followed common sense (which I realize is not that common), then it wouldn't be an issue. Besides, the vast majority of people aren't even at risk of dying from it.
