Hey UnkieT,
Can you get a suit jacket LENGTH changed, not of the arms, but of the whole jacket itself?

After that, drop $100 and get the Squire reset (if it wasn't set by a local luthier already).
When it comes to instruments, buy the best one your budget allows. If you've already dropped $130-$200 on a Squire, save up some real dough and buy a Reverend, Hagstrom, or a nicer Ibanez (like a Satch JS100). . . also, try some of the cheaper Parkers. . . once again, depending on what kind of music you like to play, I can make a better assessment.
I just bought my baby in January:

Quixtar!!!!
I'm broke as hell(read: I didn't wanna drop a couple hundred on a new jacket that I'd use little as of now).. and needed a better fitting jacket for last night.
i'm not a particularly great guitar player and i only play at home for my own entertainment.. been playing for a lil more than 2 years now. i can't justify spending tons of money on a guitar that's really 'great' when i'm not a 'great' player, ya know?
as for what i play... songs other people wrote.
lately? muse, pearl jam, guns n roses, strokes... i just learn songs i've heard that i enjoyed... and i rarely learn a whole song. usually just bits and pieces of things. the hardest thing i've attempted is the intro to satch boogie. i can play it a lil slower than it properly should be played, or faster if i don't mind getting sloppy and missing a note.
...so you think wheels then... ?

However, for the sake of money, yes, wheels first, then go get your Squire reset (if hasn't been set yet).

Unless you tell me what kind of music you intend on playing and when, I recommend getting your wheels touched-up and powdercoated.

what kind of guitar is that? in answer to some of the rest of your post, parkers make me
