I'll send you the clutch low-brow answers on a PM.
That said, deep meditative breathing is about as close to not exercising as you can get.
Also, you may want to try to visualize your "happy place," whatever that may be. The trick with general breathing, visualization, or anything else like that is that you need to practice it.
Start with 5 minutes. Then, go to 5 minutes three times a day. Then, up the number.
I'm also a big believer in a certain degree of self-analysis. However, I was told by a now-infamous ex that I could've been "the Gestalt analyst from Hell."

Yeah I've been working on my breathing lately, but the problem is I only make time for it just before bed, so I end up falling asleep and don't get everything out of it that I could.
I tend to be over-analytical sometimes...I'm pretty self-aware - the problem sometimes is moving beyond that into action.

I'd ask myself, but that's not in the scope of this thread.
Over the last month or do I've actually been working hard to identify my feelings.
There have been a few surprises. It's good to keep challenging yourself I think - there are some things I thought I "knew" when really, I didn't.
Perhaps you should consider moving beyond the scope of this thread.
