Since I have no frame of reference, I have zero inside scoop.

Based on what you posted, I'll take a wild guess:

1. GPMike took it to another level.
2. GroovyNeilNeil waited until the statute of limitations is about to run out, and decided to file a nuisance suit.
3. Some shifty kid of a certain ethnicity decided, after getting screwed over by another shifty kid of a certain ethnicity, went tort hunting. . . and is probably not in a state where caveat emptore law is itself shady.

That's just me guessing out of my ass. Again.
