I was about to scream bloody murder over there being a lack of a good pastrami vendor around here. However, last week, Tooch and I found:

Rosemary and Thyme
5175 Moorpark Ave. SJ

They butcher and cure all their meats in house. Best pastrami sammich I had outside of the Tri-State area.

I wouldn't be surprised about Novato.

Oh, caveat: the deli I mentioned is Russian. . . the pastrami is NOT lean. It'll kill you. . . happily.
