Maybe she is. Maybe she isn't. But it pays to advertise, and news is free advertising.

In true sheetrocker fashion you gotta smoke a couple of bowls before you start and slam down a twelve pack while you are doing the job
Did you get stilts?

well not sure you get the JOB as this is preparing done walls for Paper so it lyes FLAT & SMOOTH & you won't see / feel the orange peel texture under it. Papered walls should be smoooooooth for the best appearance I have papered over texture and had it bug me so thought I'd like to try & do it right once. I had a not great paper hanger do my downstairs bath & I did watch him do the prep of the walls so I get what to do just nervous I'll F it up think I'm gonna test in the closet behind the room first no stilts but I did get the pole with the sanding bar attached as you have to do a coat / sand & repeat

I hate doing plaster/drywall work, I do alright with it but it's definitely not something I look forward to at all.

Best of luck to you < pretend that's a sander

My advise is to sand down the texture prior to mudding as the mud doesn't like hard edges and it'll stick better. I use a 10" flat taping spreader when applying, use thin coats and use the wall as your guide. Thin coats dry quicker and are easier to manage.

I'd also advise to not watch videos on "how to" as it'll just discourage you (it does me) as you aren't a pro and it'll make you feel dumb. Best way is to jump right in and just try it. All else fails, hire someone to fix it if you mess it up royally.

She is a celebrity. That's all I can say without you grabbing the soap and shoving it into my face. Even if I were being nice, you'd still need the soap if I went into any details as to what she does as a celebrity.

I'm quite worried. You're putting the mud ON, not pulling it off.

I don't need stilts to smoke 3 bowls. However, having 2 pounds of celery and a pound of peanut butter handy might help later.

Skip the 3 bowls if you want the mud to go ON.
