saw that episode yesterday.I had not seen that video. I scrolled through it, and yep, that’s generally how they’re made. That’s from the C.G. Conn factory, which these days is in Eastlake, Ohio. I played on a Conn 8D from 1989 until last year, when I bought my new Horn (Patterson Horn Works, Las Cruces, NM).

anyhoooo he wanted to know if yours had or has 3 or 4 of the lil buttons ( don't know what they're called ) you push with your fingertips?
It's fundamentally a screwed up instrument that should only be taken up by the insane.
If we're talking modern SVE Syclone, I'd guess it's that the springs and struts are designed for speed, and not for saddling extra weight (by bed latch or tow hook). So, given that they're putting on second-place-is-first-loser speed parts, they're not going to hazard a tow rating out of an abundance of caution.
Perhaps consider a Callaway Canyon instead.
