NO actually they were nOt scared ( see they had no clue what wuz happening ) they had been on the floor watching cartoons or maybe Fraggle Rock and I kinda loudly told them to get up n come to me! Had on my hip and went for the door that wouldn't open

Hmmm. Either we have a 6-degrees thing or we have a common urban myth. I used to work with a guy (last name Merk) who mentioned that this happened to his brother. (Mercedes stolen and found with dead guys in it in the Cypress Freeway collapse.)
