Well of course I thought of the "bs" explanation but my friend was a guy that you could usually count on for not bs-ing. It's possible but it seems to go against my impression of him. Who knows? (I did some web searches and came up with nothing)

 

Yeah, I tried googling it myself and found nothing. My dad is a pretty good source and doesn't normally me. Most likely I just don't remember all the details. It was two decades ago and I was 11 at the time.

 

Well ask him if his friend was named Merk (believe it or not my recollection is "Mark Merk").

I too believe that 'what goes around comes around.' Don't think I believe in karma in its truest sense, but that discussion's probably a little deep for the lol.
