Sorry, my best friend got his pre-med degree (excercise science) from there.
I used to drive down from POint Mugu to see him. We would drink a beer for every gunshot we heard.
True story:
He was placed in an apartment with one other guy, and 2 SC football players.
One of the players parked the other's car illegally, and it was impounded. They didn't have the$$$ to get the car back, so they went to westwood (UCLA) to mug people til they had enough $$$ to pay the fine and impound fees. Well, the dumb SOB's grabbed a guy and threw him into another car they had borrowed, and beat him until he gave them the PIN to his ATM card. They pulled up to an ATM, and an undrcover cop happened to be there in line. He saw the beaten guy in the back seat and brought the fury f the LAPD down upon them.
It was a big deal. 2 SCfootball players incarcerated and convicted. this was in 1992 I think.
Best thing that could've happebened if you ask me.
they were the rudest, loudest worst excuses for human beings I had ever met.
One of them beat up the others' girl friend once, because the other had slapped the first ones GF when he caught her stealing $$$ out of his wallet.
