When you and Joy flew down and picked up Blue from me 5 1/2 years ago, was the book "The Art of Racing in the Rain" in the trunk. If so, do you still have it and, if so, can I have it back? I'm reminded of it by this article in today's LA Times:

It was given to me by a friend who asked me to read it. I never did and I felt badly about it. The movie just came out on Friday.

Nope, it wasn't there. You had the trunk mostly spotless. Even when I pulled out the subwoofer to check the connections, it was empty.

 

Chatted with my dad last week and he told me this has been turned into a movie. I don't expect our little podunk town will have it in the theatre, but I'm looking forward to seeing it.
