Minimize radar signature like Raptor said, apparently.
In order to minimise the structural weight and complexity of assembly, the wingbox section integrates the wing and fuselage section into one piece. To minimise radar signature, sweep angles are identical for the leading and trailing edges of the wing and tail (planform alignment). The fuselage and canopy have sloping sides. The seam of the canopy and the weapon bay doors are sawtoothed and the vertical tails are canted at an angle.

Sides of the fuselage are rounded, and the line where the canopy joins the fuselage is not a line at all, but rather a saw tooth edge that does not have a hard radar image.
That is what you said Jack but that may not be what I'm describing. Wick I already looked all over for a pic but couldn't find one. I'll try again later.
It looks as though the top section of the clear rounded canopy is a big jigsaw piece but the jigsaw section doesn't affect the contour at all so far as I could see.
