I actually love the Jawbone. I've been able to talk to people on the phone with the top down without a problem. I also like to listen to music while driving and talking on the phone, because we all know that being able to multitask effectively is a great thing to do when you've got your foot on the gas pedal.
I've been marginally impressed with the Jawbone. "On dry land" it's been great...deals well with background noise from music or on construction sites, but have had much worse results while driving. That said, it's the ONLY headset of the 10 or so I've tried that works AT ALL while driving in my Miata with the top down. Unfortunately, whatever technology they use not only cuts out the background noise, but also seems to lop off bits of my voice along with it...causing the conversation to sound as if I'm losing cell coverage...

Possibly because much of your conversation would appear to many to be just background noise !!

You know, lately even I have been finding much of what I say to be background noise...
