brant, a couple folks have horned rotary's into the miata. IMO I'd go the subframe route, you'd have to to make it custom made, but there really is no other was, and it'll be solid. www.mazdatrix.com have done this, I think it might have even been a three rotor. As for your local guy, you are reffering to atkins in puyallup? he is highly regarded as far as I have experienced. My 2 bits are stay NA, and go 3 rotor if you can, but the 2 rotor can be a monster. Losts of power to be made in those motors........ I'm sure martin has more experience than me, but I was a rotor-head for a good part of the ninetie's when I had a rx-7 for about 7 years. Great machines truly exotic
