I like a good modern shiftable auto tranny when mated to the right engine. It is nice to have one of each hanging around lol.

My Dad has a pimpin' 99 lincoln town car and everytime I get in it I'm trying to get the seat to go farther back, same thing with early 2000 mustangs but I have had 5 fox bodies that I had plenty of room in.
I agree with Spider renting is a great idea but not too many options around here but I would consider it worth my time and money to travel to find one to rent but would try a test drive first cause that's free and take it from there.
mom fits in most cars my problem is not being able to reach well, when I first sat in the TR6 on the lot I couldn't move the seat up far enough to put the clutch in when I got serious about purchasing I had them make it Mooooooooove
The Speedster Replica sat VERY LOW and well yeah being 5' 1" it was not a comfy feel view for me C-6 figured out a way to un bolt the seat and put in some spacers which raised it up a few inches, that made a BIG difference
so yeah those modern electric moving levers are nice IMO

Could hook up the 600cc three cylinder motor from my sled in the back. It would be a screamer.

If C-6 is going to get a meat product, and you need Purdy brushes fast, you need two trucks.

My Dad had a Lincoln Town Car with the 5.0 L motor, after he passed I drove it for number of years. It suffered from suspension sag towards the end of our ownership and it was time to sell it as the repairs were adding up on a regular basis. The motor and tranny drove like new, the body was in good shape, and the interior was mint - like sitting on a couch.

Yes they have excellent drivetrains but the air suspension can be costly to fix. My Dad's has the 4.6 in it which has been great. He really likes it always says its a race to see which will die first him or the car.
